  • “Although I was only born in 1964 there were things on display that brought back memories for me. I enjoyed discovering some of the other treasures and, like the rest of the Castle Museum, it was well laid out and I could have spent much more time in there.
I will certainly being making a return visit.
    Highly recommended.”

  • “Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed your new gallery, 'The Sixties'.

The displays brought back many pleasurable memories - it pains me to think how much stuff I've thrown away in the past - how I now wish I'd hung on to things like my Beatles Monthly Magazines. The Monkees had a similar publication which I also used to buy and it was from one of those that I started to correspond with a Danish penpal. Sadly we have now lost touch.

Compliments to everyone involved with the exhibition. We shall certainly be paying it another visit soon.”

    Sue and Barry Thorn

  • “Exhibition is great, but I think it needs to be clearer when you go in what the layout of the place is and how to go straight the sixties area. Also, it was a shame the juke box sound had to compete with a different tune (louder) piped into the adjacent area. ”
